From some of the other posts, I understand that they are prioritizing the applicants whose medicals are expiring soon.

Good point..made me think. Not sure if that is completely correct..but it does sound like a valid point .

Check you spam folder and all other folders. PPR email may be hiding there

I have no idea when they updated my E cas to in process as I had stopped checking, but the status said in-process since 26th sept.

Hi all.. I just applied for my sponsership on October 17th.. it looks like Canada Govt likes to keep husband and wife half way across the globe for long time..! Its really hard to go through these days..at least they should have given visit visa.. I am seeing that processing is taking more than 10 months.. .. and temporary workers can bring their wife in 6 days.. this is too much..!!

I am Jan 29 2013 Applicant haven't received PPR yet. I have six years of travel history Did MP inquiry twice instead of ordering GCMS notes. They advised me to wait till November..... Tired of waiting and checking emails.

Any suggestions for me, my time line is:

As someone suggested..check your spam folder for sure.
Contact your MP's office and have them do an enquiry...cuz you should have received PPR by now...something is not right.
Have you tried emailing the new delhi visa office directly ? The email is on their site I believe.

I would suggest that you apply for GCMS notes asap. There have been cases where PPR request has been missed by applicants. GCMS notes will help you identify that.

Its been the longest wait for me and i guess for most of us...everyday is like a year for me.They really have to expedite this..and stop calling so many people for friggin interviews.! it just delays everything. The agony!

I know how u feel about that...can u imagine others who have waited for a year? I also feel like its already a year for me but we still have time for it and i applied before you like first week of march...jst be positive zormas..we will surely get it sooner..keep praying!

I will generally agree as my friends wife was called up and asked if she could go to canada in a week or 2 weeks as her medical was expiring. so she said yes and she is in canada.....
