MYRAH, I HAVE SEEN YOU ARE VERY HELFULL, I HAVE A QUESTION PLS HELP ME TOO, MY HUSBAND WENT FOR HIS MEDICAL AND FOUND OUT HE HAS SUGAR IN HIS URINE , WOULD THAT REFUSE HIS APPLICATION?? I M SO WORRIED.

don't worry it wont wont have any issues in your application ....communicable disease that would endanger the Canadian public those are the ones..they look for

But taj p it should not be any problem if ur husband is diabetic or has sugar they just concerned for STD or for TB mainly and nothing else should be a problem at all........

They do the medical just to check that the applicant will not be a burden to the Canadian healthcare system. Diabetes shouldn't be an issue as it can be treated with medication. Same would go for high blood pressure.

As Taj p and LM86 said, it's only to check for STDS, TB, AIDS/HIV, and anything else that could cause an epidemic like SARS, avian bird flu, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis, foot in mouth disease, swine flu... Which causes a lot of headaches for healthcare providers and pandemonium within communities.

But how did you get the medical results? As far as I know, they don't tell you the results but send it directly to CIC.

Doctors from whom you get your medicals done they tell you the results if you ask them for the medical results.

I told myrah in previous comment that atleast cic mississauga works far better than ndvo does and they complete things on time

yup I agree the dr told me I was all clear with my medicals before they sent it .......

Well call up ur doc and ask give them ur medical date and they will surely tell u the results...

But wht abt 2012 applicants they are still waiting for things happen and its been more than 1 year for them now ndvo really sucks they dont know how bad our lifes are affected...... they just care abt their families as they can fight for them and ask for a fair pay for them and their families.

Could anyone body help me with this? Not sure what i should expect from this.

I had applied on 18th April 2013 sponsorship for my wife.

sent passport on 30th May 2013
Application went in process on 12th October 2013

Today i got DM October 21, 2013.

hope every thing should be fine...
