It is really irritating that they randomly switch between modes of communication Email/Phone/Mail. My wife's phones been dead for weeks. Luckily we're no where near them calling us.paulharry said:Hi my phn was turned off for few weeks . How can i find out if visa office called me in that time for any thing

- I am March applicant , I applied on 4th march.....
I contact MP of my area and I got following answer:
" Thank you for contacting the office of David Christopherson, MP Hamilton Centre. According to Immigration website, processing time for New Delhi is 11 months once the file has been transferred there from Mississauga. Therefore we cannot make an enquiry until the 11 months has passed. We would then send New Delhi an e-mail asking what the status of the application is. They will not give us an update until after that time, they will simply tell our office that they are well within processing times. Unfortunately, they will not expedite any application for any reason. Please do not hesitate to contact me once the processing time has passed, but please do keep an eye on the website as these times change every so often."
It seems very useless. truly dont know what to do... :-[
ORDER the GCMS notes - it takes a month but you will know the update of the case

My email to this MP would be 'gee, thanks, Mr. Albert Einstein, for stating the obvious'. My MP made his inquiry (which is true since GCMS notes says so) and got a response from NDVO saying nothing started yet but it is normal since my application is within 11 months time frame. My MP's assistant told me this over the phone adding with a gentle 'we will call you in Dec, don't call us before then'. Perhaps you can apply for GCMS notes and see what it says.khushiimann said:

Thanks god there is no fourth option. We will deliver the message on a donkey between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. any day in the month of October.needVisa25 said:It is really irritating that they randomly switch between modes of communication Email/Phone/Mail. I guess the only way to know if they called is to order the notes.
they would ask you to mail your AK47 to CIC and they will transfer to NDVO and the wait begins..then you would plan to visit the office with another one but they insist on mailing it to CIC and the cycle continues...I am know my mind is twisted and I don't need any confirmation...eclipse087 said:I was thinking of bringing my AK47.....just kidding
your MP must have had his training at one of the visa offices (NDVO would be ideal place to get training for to give standard answers)..don't despair and be proactive..order GCMS notes and see what it says..have patience since it takes 30 days to get an electronic versionkhushiimann said:
