there is an update ! My wife got an email from VFS - NDVO dispatched passport to VFS office at delhi/chandigadh. But there is no change in ECAS. it still says in-process.

she might get this in Kathmandu after a couple of days. I am so eager to meet her :-*

Thanks do you know by any chance the new consulate office in Kathmandu will help in getting PP back from ndvo

As long as there is a busines, there is no free service. VFS helps to get the passport back (I think you got an optional letter from NDVO to take to VFS office). VFS is relatively cheaper than other renowned commercial couriers.

i may sound stupid but wht is " babaji ka thullu "

Baba ji ka thullu is a signed document(thullu in tamil), that you can get from the Canadian PM, once you get it the embassy gives you visa in one week.
