Hi all!

I'd just received an email from CIC minister's office in response to my email to him written on 21st Nov 2013. It says:

Our records confirm that your undertaking was approved in August 2012 and that your spouse's application is at the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi for processing. Our records further indicate that the processing of this application is pending the results of background checks.

Although we are unable to provide you with a time frame for this application to be completed, please be assured that as soon as all statutory requirements have been met, the officers will continue to process your spouse's application

This we already knew.....nothing is new though I am happy that Minister's office at least reply me in 45 days.

Wait is still going on.........Ab tou adat hi ho gayi hai.......I hardly check my application status now.........CIC set me behind for two years.......and hatching on my passport....it is like I am house arrest.... ;D

r u sure it takes 3 months to get background check clearance from Ottowa????????? please reply

Im from TO and my husband is from Nepal..Horrible weather out here and my husband still wants to come here ASAP to warm me up lol..

Im hoping to get visa atleast in Spring..It would be Perfect

My husband has not done his medical and pcc yet! : @ He is going to do that tomorrow I think. I am waiting for you to get it so I know how long it takes after sending the documents.

Any idea how long the visa or DM will be given after the success of the interview and re-medical with the passport submitted. It is been 2 weeks now since they received the passport and re-medical everything is done I am just worried for her PCC if that expired it will take a long time before she gets her visa.

usually it takes 1 to 3 months. but mine is taking way to longer.
I submitted my passport second time on. 25th Oct 2013.Still haven't heard anything from them. we also made inquiry through MP but not a satisfied answer. sorry I'm not posting my case to scare you or anything. every individual case is different and your could be done quicker. all the best.

Hi There,, We went for an interview jan 8 and it was in process in Jan 9th. Re submitted everything in Feb 5th.. Hope we will get it soon but looking at people's timeline..it takes about 1-3 months..

I can understand..When my hubby went for an interview..The officer was very niec and very satisfied with our relationship being genuine...She said right away...just get everything done and send it right away within 30 months period...So,,Now my question is WHEN???

30 months period?? buddy it has to be 30 days right. We cannot put our finger our self on how long it is going to take them to issue the visa. Very frustrated and MP is not helping either just got the reply to wait for 90 days. He said just wait as they will issue something concerning the interview in 90 days. She passed the interview what else they are looking for.

30 months period?? buddy it has to be 30 days right. We cannot put our finger our self on how long it is going to take them to issue the visa. Sorry lol 30 days..We send it in 27 days..havent heard anything but not expecting anything until end of march now..Giving them atleast 2 months...

I dont understand why is it so hard for them to just put a stamp on our passports...Interview went well and they are satisfied...idk why??? NDVO NAME SHOULD CHANGE INTIL "WHY"

WHEN YOU GET THE RE-MEDICAL LETTER (INSTRUCTIONS), IS IT EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ONE WE GET THE FIRST TIME AROUND???
AS MY HUSBAND JUST GOT IT. AND I GUESS IT IS NORMAL MEDICAL IT SAYS WE HAVE REACHED A PART IN YOUR PROCESS THAT NOW REQUIRES YOUR MEDICAL- I.E. NOT ONLY CHEST XRAY, OR NOT ONLY ONE THING BUT EVERYTHING.

MP SAID GO FOR E MEDICAL INSTRUCTIONS (AS IT IS FASTER TO REACH THE VISA OFFICE) BUT SEEMS LIKE THERE IS NO DOC IN ALL OF INDIA WHO HAS THE EQUIPMENT FOR E - MEDICALS.

ANYWAY CAN SOMEONE CLARIFY ABOUT THE RE MEDICAL LETTER.

I received the remed letter as well and its did not say any specific test..So its regular test like we did first time...

In Hyderabad we have eMedicals enable service.Its called Migration Medicine Center(MCC) and most of the doctors are doing eMedicals now.Check your local DMP office area wise and call them whether they have eMedical service...Good luck
