Thanks everyone.. Hey beant, she basically only asked me 2 questions. 1st being why did we got married so quick? Secondly did you married some one in Canada and not in India or England where you were staying? And then she just basically asked made up questions from the answers in gave her

NO updates.. this very saddd and depressing to see we 2012 applicants have no update
on our files.. we r really be ignored..!!!!!!!!!!!!! ???

Yeah It is very depressive indeed. Tomorrow 30th October will be now an anniversary of My Interview... ??? ??? I was told by Visa officer that My passport would be ready with Visa and Landing paper in January or Feb 2013 but I did not have any news except they asked me a new completed form for Background Check. I understood that I had a very long travel history because of my business but it is more than 14 months now, they are hatching on my passport. I'm in a heavy loss in business because of this partial policy of CIC from last June I am getting an answer that they are doing final background check. What the hell they are checking.........

I am surprised people who applied much much later than me are getting their visas and living happily with their spouse......Some time I really get jealous

When I will be got my turn....it is height now.......Jaago NDVO Jaago!

I have got the MP inquiry done.. I was informed that everything is done. Only background check is pending. Once that's completed they will issue the visa..

Hope everything is done ASAP..!!!! Sick and tired of this nonsense...

@ saniali-Nope they didnt and i pray tht they shudnt cuz it ll delay the processing time further ??? First of all they made us 2012 applicants wait too long

I hope so........................ really tired now. First, they been on strike for long 6 months and now they are making 2012 applicants wait for this long.. Canadian immigration system is so messed up..

Hi all,

I have applied for PR on 19 December 2012. On 20 February 2013 positive decision has been made on sponsorship applied.

On 9 march me and my daughter(who is less than 2 years old) asked to deposit the passport with landing fee. I did the same on 22 march 2013..

And from then till now I haven't got any information. My wife is back there in Canada. Me and my daughter is here. Please suggest how much time it will take? I am worried because its getting very tough for my daughter to stay without her mother. I even went to chc delhi to make them understand the situation. But no one listen. Please suggest what to do? Its really frustrating

I feel for you buddy. Two things that can be done -
1. Your wife can initiate an inquiry with her local MPs office to find the current status on your file.
2. Your wife can also request GCMS notes (they cost $5). The notes will give you an idea how much processing has been done on your file.

But I would suggest you to do an MP inquiry first.
