NDVO first calls to confirm your availability for the interview. Only after confirming timings they are going send an email. They will not randomly send an email without confirming.
I am saying this from my personal experience. May be the experts here can provide better answer.

No yaar have not sent it yet.. When I told my STUPID laywers that I found out threw gcms notes about ppr. They just told me its and internal communication. They never received.. and email. phone call or anything frm NDVO... anywayzz they are gng to follow up on the file and find out what's gng on.... but god knows how long this will take as.. ndvo works soo dammmm slow. So a few days back I contacted my MP and told her the situation she has emailed ND.. we r waiting to hear back from them soon as I know I will send the pp... ASAP.. I REALLY AM SO CONFUSED MY LAWYERS ARE SO DUMB THEY NO CLUE WHATS GNG ON.. I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT IM PAYING FOR THEM. they keep telling me we are in within processing time..
it will be 1 year for MY HUBBYS application at ND tomorrow.. and ecas reads APPLICATION REC. MEDICAL REC.

Dude, stop relying on your idiot lawyer and use your common sense. Clearly your case is delayed coz u did not send them the passport and if you don't do it right away they might either call you for an interview or close your case. There is nothing known as internal communication in the notes. If you see that the passport has been requested in the Outgoing section of the notes that means they have asked you for the passport and for some dumb reason the PPR did not reach your lawyer. I see you are pretty regular in this forum and you probably have more knowledge than your lawyer. So I would strongly suggest you to tell your lawyer to shut his mouth and send the passport along with the copy of GCMS notes. I would also write a letter explaining NDVO everything just like atleast 30ppl in this forum have done it and got positive results. Take the matter in your own hand as your lawyer seems to be a Con artist 8) 8) 8) 8)
By the way when was the Passport requested according to notes and what does it say in the Notes section about the interview? does it say Interview Waiver Recommended?

Yes that means they have requested a Passport from you back in march. Send them ASAP and tell your lawyer to join us in this forum or in New Delhi 2013 forum. We might be able to teach him something so that he doesn't fool around ppl.

1) In the question that asks "File Type"? Should i select "Sponsorship File" or "Immigration Fileermanent Residence". (Note: I am sponsoring my wife and dependent son. I live in Canada she lives in India)

3) File number : Is that the one starting with an F followed by 9 numbers? If yes, do we add the F also or just the numbers?

4) Location: Is it Mississauga where I initially submitted the application OR New Delhi where the file was transferred? Which one?

Sponsorship already approved so you have to order file of permanent residence.
