Have you applied for GCMS notes yet? Maybe send an email to the Immigration Ministers office as well. It doesn't hurt. Not sure what the outcome will be but at least they will know how families are being kept apart under this ridiculous sponsorship program.

Even I have sent emails to immigration minister and according to him its absolutely normal and I have to wait as they can't break the queue.

CIC uses GCMS system to process all applications. By requesting these notes you will be able to see what has been processed on your file so far (such as Background check, Security check, Medical etc) and what items are still pending.

No yaar have not sent it yet.. When I told my STUPID laywers that I found out threw gcms notes about ppr. They just told me its and internal communication. They never received.. and email. phone call or anything frm NDVO... anywayzz they are gng to follow up on the file and find out what's gng on.... but god knows how long this will take as.. ndvo works soo dammmm slow. So a few days back I contacted my MP and told her the situation she has emailed ND.. we r waiting to hear back from them soon as I know I will send the pp... ASAP.. I REALLY AM SO CONFUSED MY LAWYERS ARE SO DUMB THEY NO CLUE WHATS GNG ON.. I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT IM PAYING FOR THEM. they keep telling me we are in within processing time..
it will be 1 year for MY HUBBYS application at ND tomorrow.. and ecas reads APPLICATION REC. MEDICAL REC.

I can understand cuz my lawyer also gave me the same ans tht the processing is going normal when i asked her if there was any way v cud speed up the process.Its better you tell ur lawyer to contact NDVO soon so tht atleast ur application will start processing.I dunno how long this 2012 forum ppl will b worried n sad

especially when they are calling from india, Phone Connection is not so good in Nepal..

NDVO first calls to confirm your availability for the interview. Only after confirming timings they are going send an email. They will not randomly send an email without confirming.
I am saying this from my personal experience. May be the experts here can provide better answer.
