Reeyan: If you see Dipali's last posts, she got PPR in march and additional documents request in april, thats when they asked for photos.

Hi,
I have received my visa on 7th June in my CPR the destination city is written as "Mississauga" as my husband were working but recenly my husband is shifted to Calgary... is it okay if i directly go to Calgary? or should i need to go Mississauga and then do the formalities for PR and take the flight for Calgary?
Please help.

I ran far far away from the forum to prevent myself from going insane... Since I have a confirmed wait I figured the best thing to do would be to immerse myself in something that is not immigration related

Any updates from your end?

Chd123... What's happening wiz your application?
Could you tell me, did you get a notification from RCMP when your clearance was completed? How did you know that it was completed?

If he is a citizen there are no restrictions. If he is a PR himself then he can make short trips of 2 to 3 weeks without any problem.

My application is in process since 11th April. I have still not received my PPR. When could this happen that a file goes to in process from appl received but there's no PPR. What are your thoughts on this friends??

Can anybody tell me what is the criteria of Visa office to clear the file? I applied on April 2012 and re-medical request with police clearance was also made in March, 2013. Its been 2 months I have sent all the required documents and now the Strike

we r in same boat.did my remedical in march but they didnot ask pcc from me.never heard from them after that. Ask ur mp to make an enquiry for u.good luck.

£ I have applied for PR on 19 December 2012. On 20 February 2013 positive decision has been made on sponsorship applied.

On 9 march me and my daughter(who is less than 2 years old) asked to deposit the passport with landing fee. I did the same on 22 march 2013..

And from then till now I haven't got any information. My wife is back there in Canada. Me and my daughter is here. Please suggest how much time it will take? I am worried because its getting very tough for my daughter to stay without her mother. I even went to chc delhi to make them understand the situation. But no one listen. Please suggest what to do?

I think because of the strike your application is on hold as surely they will have consideration for babies .Your wife can approach an MP in her place and ask for help.

Yes waiting waiting ..and one year of waiting

Yes we did ,but we selected physical while submitting and got it after 50 days :'( with no details..It is copy of documents we submitted and have receipt of PP.

How do we get the communication if we have to redo medicals and pcc i.e by phone,email or letter..my wifes medicals and pcc expiring in coming week....thanks
