I guess the silver lining for those of us who have waited this long is that we'll get cheap fares! Hahaha! Not many people travel to North America this time of the year because most schools are still in session! Waah. Thanks NDVO, I know you are looking out for my finances!

Next week is month ending week. Its usually the time when they go for bulk updates. So if embassy is closed tomorrow. I am still expecting a huge update next week.

DECISION MADE and ADDRESS CHANGE !!!!!!!!!!!! just checked ecas and it never went in processs straight from application received to decision made ... i cheked ecas 30 mins before it was AR and now DM ........and it says we started processing ur application on 21 jan .. so when did they do BC for travel history ????

Not true we filed in August... It took till November to approve and forward the application to New Delhi.
Still waiting for the PP request letter :'(

That is true for few lucky Applicants from August got their PP back with Shinny Visa. Because every case is different and unique and so is the processing time.

But Don't worry you may get DM directly without getting into in process. May God bless you with speedy visa process.

Gulzar, I see your wait has just started. You are lucky to have applied in the times where processing time for sponsor is not as bad as ours. I sincerely hope that you do not have to wait that long. And I am sue you won't. If you are working already, dont quit till you get PPR. I did that mistake and trend changed during my time. But All the best to our first Jan 13 applicant.

But seriously after waiting for as much time as some of us did. You tend to loose it.
By this time..most of your forum buddies have already got visas, and have moved on with their lives. And you are just waiting and waiting and waiting with no clarity. Totally at the mercy of changing rules and mood swings of NDVO.

So guys don't really ask us to be positive and happy, we are already trying hard...I am this close to breaking glassware in the house.

This unfortunately is the only place to share and most most importantly vent...So yes we are going to yell and post crying smilyes for some time. But we are really happy at the same time for those who get visas.

No they are not closed. Check their holiday list, its on the website. The first holiday they have is in march for holi.
