I have been reading dis forum since more then 6 months ..... My heart sinks whenever I see DM for the ones who had applied much later then me . But I explain myself that MERA NUMBER BHI AAYEGA .

But now I see many still waiting to get blessed ...

My Representative got a reply some time back , that they will instruct me shortly for the next steps .

So now i'm just waiting with my fingers crossed .

Can you share what happened during your interview, it may give other interview goers a better idea of what to expect.

Me n my spouse had gone for the interview . The interview lasted for good 45 mins . Really had to convience that we r into a genuine relationship . Later thr VO requsted for the additional document which was submitted in sept . My Ecas changed to in process after the interview , n it said we started processing ur file on ------ . it was the same day when i had the interview .

I totally agree! Passport is the most important document of any person on earth. If they(NDVO) hold our passports for months( which is a NDVO unique process), they should be at least giving us the confrmation that they are holding the passports from so ans so dates and they are completely responsible for that!

Wat u say is right mumble, i got PP requst in Sept 12 and thought that max by Dec i will get a response...i quit my job on 15 Nov 12 and m serving a notice period of 90 days...my last working day is 14-feb-13 and so far no update...

When i asked my manager to call back by resignation thinkin i will work a lil longer; now my manager says if u wanna continue, u will hav to giv a commitment of 1 yr... m caught now..

Hopefully you will get the visa before that.

Worst case,

Looking at the 90 days of notice period I am assuming you're an IT employee! In Canada they don't really look for an experience certifcate from your old job nor a relieving letter. So technically you can commit for an year and break it whenever you want. Only problem with that you are burning the bridge with your manager, and it could be a problem if you get the job in the same company here. It is not problem for big companies like IBM, Accenture and all, because they are so disconnected geographically.

Do not worry about company's notice period at anytime. When you're sure about you visa, put your paper. Even it is a short notice, 99% your company will accept your a short notice, as one is the case of life and other is just a project.
