DOES ANYBODY KNOW APPLICANT's STATUS USUALLY WHEN THEY SCHEDULE INTERVIEW?
I AM FREAKED-OUT OF THE STATUSES AND INTERVIEW!!

From what I've gathered so far in this process, if your status is In Process and they have requested PP, then 99% they have waived off the interview.

The interview is usually to make sure your relationship is valid or to clear up any other doubts. So I'm assuming that prior to the interview you will be at Application Received.

What is your current status?

Hey your file is 'In Process' and you already got a call from NDVO for fees and they did not ask any questions then, so I do not think there will be any interview for you.

We are inquiring with our MP now. As soon as we get a response, I will let you know. But just relax. The hold up is for all cases which went in process since 26th sept. I do not think there is any complication.

next step would b G2 test... i.e the driving test... or directly Gtest.. tht allows driving on highways... n as far as i knw no authentication is needed frm india

iF U HV experience fr back home ie letter recomending ur driving experiene by local transport authority, then ur 1 year wait for G is waived n u cn give G1, G2 and G all together.
otherwise u hv to drive for atleast a year with restrictions. i.e Q. E. express highways

I have one query.

If I order GCMS notes on 1st of a month and I get a reply on the 30th with my status as 'xyz'. Then is this status ('xyz') indicative of where my file is on the 1st or the 30th?

My Date Generated = Date Requested. Although I received it long after that... So in your scenario, it should be 1st of the month.

Hello Everyone,

I went through all the posts.. Some are really very helpful but I can see everyone is worried just like me. You know we all need to stay focused and think positive. Everything will be good. God is with everyone and when God has brought us together no one can keep us apart [Us means me and my husband and when you read it, you and your spouse]... So chill friends... I got my PR in 5 months no one believes, I am sure there are many more like me. So if this can happen to me why can't my husband get his PR in 3 months... I am writing all this because when I read all these posts I got very stressed so may be my silly post can relieve someone and my self.. Good Luck to all.

Got our GCMS notes.. Took about 35 days after ordering... There is one section named Application Assignment. It says
Assigned to: DMxxxx
Assigned by: BAxxxx
Due Date: January 15, 2013
Wondering if January 15 will be the decision making date and we just need to chill out until then...
Do other people have the same type of entry?

My wife sent her passport to Delhi VO on 3rd Nov and VO received it on 5th Nov. But my ecas status is still "Application Received".

Any applicants who send their passport to Delhi VO in Oct ending or Nov1st week ?

I see that users Can_here_i_come and riya batra applied same time as me, can some one reply on this. It's been 42 days, hmm waiting for status change at least...

For me as well it says application received and medical received...even though passport was received by ND in September end..

take a quick look at people who been posting here......!! they ve been waiting like hell.....
plus no changes on ecas in some cases from 3-4 months...
my advice....dont expect too soon....RELAX njoiiiiii ;D
but i d still secretely hope you get it sooner than this previous slot of applications...all the bestttt
