# If PCC are not Background checks then what are background checks and why are they done?
# Who does background checks?
# Once we submit PCC along with our documents filed that will be more enough to satisfy them for our assessments, but still our cases are delayed, is that
just because for our background checks?
# If they do background checks then why do they require PCC during submissions of our applications?

Hey tahsinmohammed your and mine timelines are almost same just 3 days gap, kya hova yaar inprocess abhi tak nahin huva hum do no ka. Inshahallah jaldi hoga toh accha hai.

in my case no they didn't add my father's name ... but they updated it in oct 1st week sm day... and they updated my surname to my husband's... n no change after that

Same thing happen in my case as well.... Surname was added in first week of october, after being in process on 26th sept....but nothing after that.....

It's really hard to live like a bachelor after marriage.. This CIC doesn't even understand that this in not any other category...this is just spouse visa..Why?????????they are counting days like hours...

Yeah you are right rahulchd, first 6 months, then 8 months................then 9 months, they are counting days like hours...........
