Have you tried to contact your MP Abhat. Contacting MP would not fasten up the process but certainly can get you the status update as on what stage NDVO is currently on your file. I can totally feel your pain, I applies on feb 23rd and still am waiting its kind of ridiculous but nothing could be done but to wait and pray.
I hope you get some update from them soon.

Not yet, I have been given different advise about that. Some people have told me to do it right away, other tell me not to contact until it has been six months since PPR. Can I do it at any time with it affecting our process?

Thank you for all your responses!

My timeline is already on the spreadsheet no. 66 name rufee..... I wish Balkan Manorite ashu Canadavisa or march applicant were here they would have been able to help me... In process always means interview has been waived , right? And I just want to know they were late in updating my status or came on touch with my file again...

Hiiiii
No one can expect what r they doing with files if ur status showing in process and march applicant means u r near to ur visa other thing u missed call from ND may be they want to confirm something don't worry wait for some days

Hey contacting MP does not delay your processing time and you can certainly get your MP to contact NDVO to get status update for you

I think I will contact my MP this week or next. I just looked up the office and is it near to my house. I can't seem to find out what to do though. DO I just make an appointment and they have all the forms? Or are there forms I have to print out and bring with me? I know there is a disclosure form or something like that that gives them permission to acces the information, but do they have that or do I bring it? So confused. I searched the forum and on google but everything just says "contact your mp" without any specific instructions.

IMM5475 is the form you need to fill up and carry with you
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/release-info.asp
MP office will not provide you any form so make sure you carry that form with you. I hope this info is helpful and you hear from NDVO soon

You have been so helpful! Thank you so much. I hope you hear from ND soon as well.

One last question, on the form it says signiature of applicant, is that for my husband or for me? he is the applicany for permenant resident, so does he need to fill out this form? Or does he sign the spouse signature? I would need him to print it out, sign, and mail it to me if it needs his signature on it.

For me my husband signed it ( he is Canadian and I am the applicant) but some people on previous threads mentioned that has to be signed by the applicant ie person who is not in Canada. I would say visit MP office with your sign under applicant and if MP agrees to help bingo and if MP ask for your husband's signature instead tell your husband to sign and and Scan it for you.

Excellent, thank you, I will do just that.

Guys no reason to stress. Have faith

Hi MiSara, just wondering looking at yr time line - you applied in Feb and still no news at all?? is yours a straight forward case / or you got travel history?

smvi - any news / update ?? I noticed tht you are updating the sprred sheet nw aft manorite. I saw there are 2 different sheets - one says March 2012 (the link is under manorite) and one sheet is June 2012 (tht is under your id) - is tht correct?? So your doing both sheets??

Anyone here who can shed some light on this dilemma I got -

I sent one of those case specific enquiry on Tuesday 18 Sept 2012 around 1:00pm IST through the link sent by NDVO;
got a reply from NDVO by 4:45pm IST.
In the email reply I got back - it says my application is still pending initial review - what does tht mean???

they also said that processing time is 6 months from the time we submit our app in cic mississauga - mine is 14 march 2012

but same email reply has link tht says processing time is 6 months frm the time nDVO recieves our app aft cic fwd to them - mine is 21 June 2012.

Which date is accurate?? There doesnt seem a precise manner in which they are working on the files. Frustrating.!
