Hi Friends......

First of all congrats to all who got their DM & PP back.
Want to share that today my ECAS shows my partial address of Canada and Indian address, Is this a good sign....PLs share ur experience.

Well, Sponsor will get his/her UCI number and Applicant will get her/his File Number starting with F000XXXXXX when stage 1 one is completed....New Delhi office will issue a Applicant his/her UCI number and you can track the status of the application both with Applicants UCI and File Number as well as with Sponsors UCI number on eCAS.

Well in the email if it says file has been transferred to local office i.e New Delhi for further processing then you dont have to worry friend......My spouses file has transferred on 30th Aug and I received PPR on 15th Sep by email.I guess you should be receiving email from New Delhi office soon....

Yes when we received the sponsorship approval, we did get the file number and it stated that file has been transferred to new delhi.
So does this new UCI number (one for the applicant) come with the PPR email?

I have a question what was it before?

It was showing my Canadian home address before this. and what does your ecas show? I am even representative of my wife and every email has come to me as of now from aor to ppr request.

for me earlier it was my Canadian lawyer (representative) address , then after sending my passport I sent a letter to ND VO to change it to my Indian address...

did u send any request to ND VO update ur Indian address from Canadian address?

if it has got updated automatically by the ND VO... sure they are looking on your files and you will be hearing a good news from them before this month end...

I am surprised that you have not received any File Number when your file was transferred to New Delhi...Yes New Delhi will issue a new UCI for the Applicant when they send email or correspondence for PPR.....

Once yr application is about to finish the process...Applicant Ecas will show the complete Indian address & partial address of Canada..
When this is shown then u can consider that u r done ...

How often are applications refused if they ask for the passport? My husband sent his passport 3 months ago now and we haven't had any contact since. Our relationship was short before marriage, now married for a year. We sent about 100 photos, a handful of e-mails, phone records for 4 months, regular skype screen shots, and proof of more than three thousand facebook messages (most reliable way for us to communicate). We had all our documents and was very well organized. We're inter racial (i'm white and native canadian and he is Nepali) and inter faith (I do not label myself with any religion and he is hindu). We are prepared to have in interview but expected to be contacted by now. we filed March 6 and had our file transfered June 8. PPR two weeks later and it arrived there two days after.

Any insight from other members?
