I got the sponsorship approval from my wife today, 28th August, 2012 and the application has been forwarded to the New Delhi visa office . Please update the tracking sheet.

yes after your ECAS goes "in process", ND sends your application for Background checks for applicant. if applicant doesnt have long travel or work history, ECAS changes into DM soon after "In process". and there is no chance for interview after getting "in process" status.

Not yet Manorite. Now, I have stopped checking emails regularly. Earlier, I used to do it "n" number of times, but now may be once in a day. These people are hopeless. Its annoying, but you can't do anything about it.

Manorite, I see that ND VO has started calling applicants recently. Do you think it will be worthwhile to add a column to the tracking sheet on when they were contact by the VO? It might give us an idea on when / what they are looking at in the application. Just a suggestion. Cheers.

its more than a month since it shows Decesion made 0n July 27th, on my File, and nor they send my wife passport back, can anybody let me know if they have the similar case

or is there anyother place in delhi where i can contact or send and Email the respective email address they gave they dont repond to that, very poor service Delhi Visa office is having

Guys, I have two questions:

1. Can anyone please tell me what this could mean : "your file is waiting review from senior officer" ...
Is this different from initial review ? Can it be a final stage when the file is with senior official with everything finished ?

2. When we order GCMS notes, around what date the notes are generated ?
I mean it takes 30 day to receive the notes. So, do they generate the notes towards the end of this period or somewhere in the middle ?
Those who ordered their notes, can you guys please check this date ?

I'll really appreciate your inputs... ....

Here is my timeline: applied on 12th March, 2012, sponsorship approved on 27th June, 2012 and got PPR dated 4th July, 2012

Nebula, i hav read in some other threads that the Visa officer that was going over your file is not sure about something or he is not the one that can make the final call, thats when your file get reviewd by a senior Visa officer...

Not to worry....you are in final stage...
