today i missed a call from +91 2242448300...i am much worried as i have missed a call from VO...

Hello my time line is same as yours. Can you see? My ECAS is still showing application received.

Dear Expats,

I have few queries “Proof of Employment for Canada Visa”. I am having a valid Job offer from a well-known Canada Company.

Please find my queries below:

1. Proof of Employment :
• For how much period we have to provide the data?
• Do we need to provide data from the very first day of the job or 5 or 6 years of data is enough?
• What are the documents required? Can somebody point me a older thread or something?

1. My second query is about reference latter for “Proof of Employment for Canada Visa”.
• What should be the format of that latter and form whom I can get it?
• Is it necessary to get a get this latter on Company Latter head, I am asking because it is not permitted in my company to give it on company latter head. What should I do in this case?
• I have Employment verification latter from my HR head on company latter head? Will that work?

Please suggest me about it, I really need your help on this. Please reply.

Regards,

Rahul Bhardwaj

Hang in there. They don't always update e-cas regularly. Possibly because of the volume of applicants. It's just been about 2 weeks, so you might see updates soon. Don't be disheartened. What was the phone call about? Was it for submission of extra docs?

No, the phone call was about verifying some information. We did not state in our application that my parents could not make to our wedding but we did not lie as well. So by asking some questions, the Vo found out that my parents were not in india at the time of my wedding. So she was surprised, but my husband told her that we have not stated anywhere in the application that my parents were with me in india. So Now, we are confused that what is going on with our application!!

Thank you Riro82 for replying :)

hi, what did the ND VO ask ur Husband?

The Vo asked my husband to confirm my full name, address, dob and if I work or not. and that if I was in india with him, who called frm my phone number!! So it seemed like she was in doubt about our relationship. But actually my parents were calling us as I was staying with my husband!!

It just seems like they were double checking on some details against the ones mentioned in the application. This is normal. The VO asked me same questions over and over to ensure if they matched with my application. It doesn't hinder your processing in any way. As long as the reasons seems normal and logical, they simply listen to it and move on. Ours was a marriage against my parent's will so I had to explain this to VO and she understood it. What you should have done was mentioned these details in the application. But nevertheless, it's nothing wrong as you have now explained the VO. Just be positive. Did you apply inland?
