New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Hey Guys! I have received my sponsorship approval on 26Feb2013.
For those who have got the passport request, please share your experience on the following:

1) How do one get the passport request? Through email (Applicant and the sponsor?) or snail mail?
2) Any recommendation on how to send the passport, a normal courier with an acknowledgement would be ok?

Receives PPR through the mentioned email of applicant or representative and PP(s)should be couriered through BlueDart/DHL along with the acknowledgment letter and any other requested documents.

When you leave Canada, the border agent scans your passport. There's no stamp but there's an electronic record.

Hey... I'll try and do it electronically but I'm not sure how to validate that the fingerprints I'm sending are indeed mine... feeling so helpless

when you do electronic fingerprint, you dont send anything, its sent automatically from the fingerprinting agency. you will have to find out which ones in india are accredited for RCMP, also ask your sponsor to contact CIC helpdesk and try to get some information from them

Dear mapgal86, My heart says don't do it now but my mind says go ahead, this vice versa repeats consistently then finally my mind takes a chance and wins, and when I check my status again the same story, Inprocess, this is what my day begins from dawn till desk then hope arises for the next day.

I know what you mean. I used to feel the same way. When the page used to load, my heartbeat used to skyrocket, my mind used to tell me don't get your hopes up, but my heart used to say that today's the day.

In the end the extreme changes in heart rate were starting to affect me! Haha!

Anyway, we'll all get our DMs very soon. Praying for everyone here.

My husband applied for our ( me and child) PR(he is a citizen of Canada) on 7.12.2012 from Canada. Decision made was shown on 15.01.2013. New Delhi had send an email asking for me and our child's original Passport on 02.03.2013. Passport received by High commision New delhi on 05.03.2013. They have not send me any mail on the medicals till ow. Can some one help me to get an idea on how much time it will take to send me medical taking intimation and then stamping of the visa. Will they call me for an interviw? How long it takes them to send the passport back to us with the visa stamping. Please help some just to have a approx idea.

Sponsors UCI number for log in ecas is different and applicant's UCI number is different so try to log in your UCI number then you will get some thing else because NDVO first gets the medical done then PR are issued on prior to medical ground and their validity, and so hearing of early Decision made is quite surprising so please rectify and confirm the sponsor's and applicants UCI log in ecas.

Don't lose hope dear, just wait till this month and sure they will directly give you decision made, this my heart say dude........my prayers are with you and every one here.

The decision made was for the sponsor. In my EAS ( with my UCI no) it shows application received on 10th december 2012.

The decision made is showing in my husbands EAS under his uci no. And in my Uci no its showing Application Received on 10th of December 2012. without medicals they have asked for our original passport. What is in store for me and my child. my husbands decision made was updated within 15 business days from the date of application. please tell me how long for us approx.
