Looking at the spreadsheet, most of the September applicant has received DM.... So now thr will be turn of October applicants....

Bt I dont understand, why have they not asked for passports for Oct applicants???

Hello everyone!


Thank you for all the kind words, I have been too busy to be on the forum this week.


I just wanted to let you know that we are now "In Process" as of Feb. 22nd. We have not yet received the re-med request e-mail though, but since it is in process we should be receiving it soon. Our interviewer said she was putting the e-mail request "into the system" and we'll be receiving it "soon". It's only been one week but I guess our definition of "soon" is different, haha.

Yes I had interview on 27th nov just to verify if the relationship is true..and not fraud...
Actually because of wrong people, genuine relationships suffer..
So basically same day my ecas changed to we started processing your application on 27 november..and until now its in process!

So true... genuine relationships suffer because of frauds..
The wait is soo hard.. :|

Sponsor approval: 26th September 2012
Passport request: 17th October 2012
Passport sent to NDVO: 2nd December 2012
Application went to 'in process': 7th February 2013
Still waiting on their decision/passport return

No clue ,, I have had my interview already , at the time of the interview they requested for additional documents , which were sent in Sept .... Had to get my re medicals in early Feb 2013 ... Now still waiting ..

And it's not only me , who is waiting for so long ,,, there r few more ..

What kind of documents they requested from u? Please share.

Hello everyone...I want advice from you.
I applied for first time on 24 aug 2011. Got PPR on 12 dec 2011 & Interview on 15 may 2012.I was rejected saying that we could not accept your marriage as you have stayed away from each other for an year.We got married on 9 June 2011,BUT MY WIFE WAS IN CANADA & WE APPLIED FOR PR PLANNING THAT WE WILL DO RECEPTION IN CANADA AFTER I GET VISA.BUT UNFORTUNATELY I WAS REJECTED.SO, MY WIFE CAME TO INDIA & WE HAD A RECEPTION IN INDIA ON 7 JUNE 2012.THEN SHE WENT BACK TO CANADA ON 7 JULY 2012.
I applied for second time on 9 aug 2012.I got PPR on 1 oct 2012.
NOW AGAIN SHE CAME TO VISIT ME ON 12 DEC 2012 HOPING WE WILL GO TOGETHER AFTER I GET VISA.BUT MY STATUS IS STILL " APPLICATION RECEIVED ".I M PLANNING TO SEND SOME MORE EVIDENCES TO NDVO, FOR EXAMPLE,1.COPY OF HER INDIAN VISA,2.PHOTOS OF OUR SECOND TRIP,3.PHOTOS OF MY BROTHER'S WEDDING SHE ATTENDED,4.COPY OF HER NRI BANK A/C WHICH SHE OPENED IN INDIA ETC....

CAN I SEND THEM ALL THESE DOCS EVEN IF I DONT HAVE ANY REQUEST FROM THEM?

My husband just checked eCas and it shows decision made. Says we started reviewing your application on Feb 22, 2013 and a decision has been made and the applicant will be contacted !!!
I'm so excited and happy !

BTW, how long does it take the office to contact the applicant and from there how long to get the passport in hand ... ??
Please advise ...

Thank soooo much to everyone on the forum !! Coming to this forum and reading posts was very helpful ... that is how I got to know about applying for GCSM notes and the option of contacting a MP etc....

from what I've read off other people who got their passport back it takes about 10 days to 2 weeks...

Btw... whats GCSM notes? & as per your experience did contacting the MP help?

Hi Everyone,

Congrats tot those who got their PR visa. I application received on Aug 16th 2012. My file transfer to India on Sep 25 2012 so My question is from which month I shuld count 10 months , because all those who alied in september got their 'DM" where as me Nothing changes . Is it ok form me to send Inquiry to Delhi or jsut wait and watch.

I am really getting frsutated by this waiting ,......
