Hey so if we applied in May and they received in May itself mean 10 months from May 2012? Also it says they started processing my application on 27th november..that is my interview date so how long decision made status takes?

I may be wrong , but just trying to clarify ...

When u check the processing time on their website , it says Step 1 xx these many days and step two ( in Delhi ) 10 months ...

So what's the real processing time ??

Hey.. That means that you should get your PR by march...

You mean your application status changed to 'in process' on 27th November?
Have you been called for an interview? Not everyone gets called for one..

The thing is that no one really know what exactly they are looking for... Some people seem to be getting their PR in 5/6 months.. Some are talking 9/10... Hope we get ours soon

10 months in total.. But again, it varies from application to application..

Actually because of wrong people, genuine relationships suffer..
So basically same day my ecas changed to we started processing your application on 27 november..and until now its in process!

Mine was the same case .... Was called for an interview in Aug , same day my ecas went in process .... And it's feb now , but I'm still waiting ..

So I guess it just depends on NDVO because they don't have a proper time guidelines as zenn said for some its 5/6 and for rest abt 9/10..
As I said I've contacted MP, so I'm waiting to know status from them now..

There is another member who had an interview in July n his ecas is in process since then , he applied his file in Oct 2011 .... And not a very complicated case .... But he is also still waiting ....

It's just when the right time will come for u ....

Hello everyone,

I just checked my husbands ecas and it states DM.

This is exactly what is states "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." What does this exactly mean?

Congrates!!!! Its time to be together and njoy ... ;D ;D

Hello everyone!


Thank you for all the kind words, I have been too busy to be on the forum this week.


I just wanted to let you know that we are now "In Process" as of Feb. 22nd. We have not yet received the re-med request e-mail though, but since it is in process we should be receiving it soon. Our interviewer said she was putting the e-mail request "into the system" and we'll be receiving it "soon". It's only been one week but I guess our definition of "soon" is different, haha.
