Dear all

I am quite confused as visa officer is satisfied with the genuinity of the relationship but not satisfied with the marriage being legal under hindu marriage act. I am a sikh n my wife is a buddhist.. we have a genuine hindu marriage certificate.. how can we further prove its legality???

Anybody witnessed this kinda case??

Experts n seniors kindly provide guidance???

Chitraajay - As i see ur timeline is straight n i feel that ur case is straight too so i bet ur next for sure along with rest of other Ppl specially maple86. I would like to say to all Ppl if ur cases are straight without any complications things are really gonna work out in 6 months max doesn't matter what ur E-CAS states u (i.e., only application received or in process - things will go directly to Decision Made). Also make sure to keep lots of patience if u Ppl have submitted ur pp's b'cuz once u ask them to return ur pp inbetween the processing that will surely delay ur whole application.

Note: Anyways what all i am saying, is according to my calculations ... if you Ppl agree it's fine if not then also it's fine best of luck to all Ppl who are still waiting.

@ Muksi.. As our timelines are pretty much the same .Do let me know if anything comes at your side.hopefully PPR should come soon..No idea what they are doing with our files..How much more time on this ?? It is really frustrating..

I too got a decision made and it said:

we received your application for permanent residence on July 31, 2012.

We started processing your application on January 23, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


Did u get the same kinda msg as well?? Do u think its a positive sign for me?? Plz let me know?? thanks..

Medical results have been received.

You will get back your PP by Registered Mail and its time to pack your bags...Good luck

It says they started processing on jan 28th.

Yup, i do got the same kind off msg as u have got ;D surely i feel it's a positive sign. lets pray and hope for the best ... don't forget to pray for me n for others And once i get any update over the pp receiving, surely i will update you and the rest of the forum 8)

July 2012Applicant - Yup application directly went from application/medical recieved to in-process and same time (same second of the clock ) to DECISION MADE

Calgary2013 - stick to your PATIENCE, soon u will hear up good news too ;D go through my other posts, i hope u will get a clear idea as well as some confidence about ur application.

Yes it went straight from IN PROCESS to DECISION MADE. It was 23 jan and still I m waiting for the passport.
