Its better to contact MP when there are delays in our cases and there is nothing negative about it until you think positive about it!!

Reason: Your application is "Inprocess" so I think you have to wait till Christmas, chances are of DM's.

Hey Mohan. There's nothing to worry about. There are people who have sent in their passports a month or two before you and even they haven't heard anything. We've just got to sit and play the waiting game.

You could also check the spreadsheet just a few posts before yours and see everyone's timeline. That should give you a rough idea on what to expect.

Same here we submitted our passport on 27th September and when we didn't hear anything from ND after that. Although we had sent an enquiry on 14th Sept just before we were asked to submit passport. We got the response to the enquiry on 14 November that file is pending under initial review. So I guess you will have to just wait..

Divorce Certificate

Hello everyone,

I have been an avid reader of these posts and happy to see all the smiley faces. I have a question for users and if anyone has an input, it would be appreciated.

I got an email from NDVO asking for a divorce certificate from a court of law. I am from a muslim background so our marriage is as per the Shariah law and courts are not involved in neither marriage nor divorce. We did submit the attested divorce certificate from a recognized Association. Would anyone have any suggestions of past experiences.
