When you land in airport their in Canada, you meet an immigration officer with COPR copy then you are registered and you will be couriered
PR card within 45 days to the mentioned address and that is 5 years card.

Its mentioned in papers other than CPR where appying for citizenship is mentioned.

Still my case is "Application Received" What is next status "In process" or Direcly "Decision Made"?????????

Is there anybody here with same timeline ???

Dont worry friends it takes time but definately if ur case is genuine you will get the visa.

I applied in March 2012, sponsership approval in June and got AOR with PPR in July. However that time i was travelling so submitted my passport in late sept. after my case went into process.

I also contacted MP (not of my area).

One more thing i want to share with u.. It is right that getting a tourist visa is difficult after u apply for PR but it is not impossible. Only thing u need to prove that you will come back to india for sure after specified period or before visa expires which ever is earlier. Like u have some job committments or some other issues

I got visitor visa after applying for PR. but i fulfill my promise and i came back after a specified period which i promised at the time of applying visitor visa.

So i wish good luck to all those who are waiting to meet their soulmate

Hey javedtai, whomever's once status is updated then first it appears application received on your ecas, then your file awaits for initial reviews

by NDVO's, by chance "Aapki kismat connection theek hai toh direct DM or phir Inprocess" so its all about your case with an visa officers dear.

Your medical reports are sent to New Delhi for sure but the copy 2 of it has to be submitted along with your application by your spouse in Ottawa or Mississauga in Canada.
