But they have return my passport in the interview.
Me and my wife also received the refusal letter.

If you don't mind can u please tell that Did it start showing before or after interview? And who is the applicant in your case husband or wife?

sorry to hear that...its shocking at the same time..i will advise you to hire a lawyer and appeal....

Yes I had interview on 10th Oct. They handed my passport back in inteveiw.
We got the refusal letter as well.

You know what Arsh, just to keep hopes alive (apna dil rakhne k liye), I just thought thay they would change the address as per PPR as Nebula and thomas got ppr before me so they got DM earlier. Baaki hum jitna bhi dil rakhe ND wale hain na dil todne k liye Lol

Don't say that. I got my PPR so late. Everything was late in this process for me, 97 days for sponsorship!, more than two months for PPR! Went into 'In Process' since 26th Sept. Its horrible. Its a freaking simple straightforward case. I wont be able to take another day now!

Hmmmm.... My case processing started processing on 13th Sept.

Till date no response from CIC.

So Its been already a very long wait.

@Sagar: Appeal will be the best way for you, they can reject your case on the same grounds they rejected this time.

Try to get a good lawyer, that will be helpful for you.

Sorry to as but was there any complication in your case like second marriage etc?

Agree with the people here. But if you are not sure why they rejected you then better hire a lawyer. He should be able to guide you much better and give you perspective you may not know.

congrats to thomas saint and others who got the good news...

a quick questions. i know some people have had their status changed directly to DM from App Recv'd. So i guess the in process doesnt really have any mean. My application was filed on 1 June. passport requested 27 aug. sent 29. but still in App recv'd status.

What is the general take on this? The wait and the strange way of processing applications is really frustrating. gotta keep the hopes up..
