New Delhi - 2012 applicants

i am sure you will get your PPR on monday(july 16th) and the letter will be dated July 10th.

thats the trasition that i had been seing in the past few PPR.

Will wait for Monday..... I am sure their outbox has a traffic jam, that why it takes 6 days to receive the emails...

My wife sent in her passport yesterday via Blue Dart. The online tracking only shows the following info for Recipient:

From: xxxxxxxxxx
To: New Delhi
Status: SHIPMENT DELIVERED
Date of Delivery: 12 July 2012
Recipient: Stamp

I thought the confirmation would include the actual delivery address. Is this what everyone saw when their passport is sent through Blue Dart?

I think they are still working on Jan/Feb applicant and will take around 6-8 weeks to get to the month of June.

I don't understand their way of working they are sending visa to even May, Feb, March applicant (As Per Spreadsheet) all at the same time.... that's really weird hope we all June applicants wake up some day and find decision made on Ecas and shining Visa on our passport ....God please listen to my wish.

Got a phone call last night from my MP saying that my husband got his visa!!! I just received a copy of the reply my MP received from Delhi. As per the email the decision has been made on July 9th and the passport should be sent to my husband shortly!

I can't believe the wait is almost over. Still don't see a change on Ecas but that's okay, I've got it in writing!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I assume you had to go to the MP because of the delay since you sent in the PP (looking at your timeline) ?

Yes Indocan. We had been waiting for 4 months for something to start moving after we sent the passport. All it said on Ecas was application received. so my MP sent an email to Delhi and then it became In Process. They mentioned that thy only were missing the confirmation of payment to issue the visa... took 3 weeks and another email from the MP to finally get DM... though still on showing on Ecas.

Did you send a copy of your receipt with your application when you made the required payments to CPC-M?

And also with your PPR?

I can understand your frustration. Anyways, the wait is over for you. Best wishes.

I did ask my wife to include a photocopy of the payment receipt and PCC along with a letter explaining that they are the COPY of the ORIGINALS submitted at the time of filing the application. I hope it will help to avoid a situation like yours.

I still haven't received PPR, still waiting ....
I don't know whats going on. My ecas still showing Canadian address instead of indian.

pinder 123, have u heard anything about PPR today?

address thing is messed up in CIC and new delhi consulate

my wife ecas shows indian address but "state" is missing

BUT

the email of PPR has the address WITH the "state" but its missing the house number !!

what i did was ...i sent a forwarding letter with FULL adddress along with passport

Yes, with the original application sent to Missdissauga, I sent the receipt of the first 550$ (475 + 75) then when we received PPR in Feb I paid the other 490$ and included the receipt along with the passport. I think they misplaced it because they said the my MP that we didn't pay it when we inquire about our application in June.

Oh ok, i am surprised how easy they take to deal with one case, they dont understand we dnt do this everyday so we are not proffesional and perfect in terms of the documentation though we still follow our check list, going with a lawyer is worst and they dnt like that as well.

So easy for them to misplace a receipt and sit on it for months unless you call them back or go through your MP to find out the details.

they finished 50 % cases in 4 months, 70% in 6 months and 80% in 7 months.

Processing times for these applications are calculated from the date on which the application is accepted by Case Processing Centre - Mississauga.

So, lets say there were 10 - Jan,2012 applicants - out of them

5 will be approved by May,12
2 will be approved by July,12
1 will be approved by Aug,12

the remaining 2 can take however long..

Similarly if there were 30 - Feb,2012 applications - out of them

15 will be approved by June,12
6 will be approved by Aug,12
3 will be approved by Sept,12

Now obviously this is the case when Mississauga is not causing additional delays, this Jan there time got increased by at least a month or so- which can explain water fall effect delays for all Jan,Feb, so on ... applicants.

this extra time should be added to the above calculations and going back to the e.g of Feb applicants would now be like:

30 - Feb,2012 applications - out of them

15 will be approved by July,12
6 will be approved by Sept,12
3 will be approved by Oct,12

similarly

10 - Jan,2012 applicants - out of them

5 will be approved by June,12
2 will be approved by Aug,12
1 will be approved by Sept,12

Look at the trackers, majority of Jan applicants were are being approved this June-July (5 out 10)

I suspect the same for Feb, majority will be July-august(15 out of 30)
