No problem hkbasi thanks for replying even I dont have any update after the phone call. I am just wondering if they are going to ask us for an interview. If they want to interview us, they should let us know because now I have started getting more frustrated and cant even concentrate at work. Badly need to be with my hubby

Please help me with this, as these are my time lines on ECASE,

Please advice how long will it take to get passport after Decesion Made, If any body can share there experiences.

its more than a month since it shows Decesion made 0n July 27th, on my File, and nor they send my wife passport back, can anybody let me know if they have the similar case

or is there anyother place in delhi where i can contact or send and Email the respective email address they gave they dont repond to that, very poor service Delhi Visa office is having

you should contact your MP immediately. I feel that they might have sent your PP back but may be returned back undelivered and in their busy schedule forget to send you mail stating that collect personaly. So my advise is to communicate through MP channel with all facts.

it's always safe to take all the correspondences that you have (i.e. sponsorship approval, PPR, any other email if you received from NDVO)...I don't know if they need any of this.....also tell him you see decision made on ECAS and take the printout of its screenshot....

when I went to MP office, they simply ask me what information I need and details of me and my wife's file....

Can you please let me know through which courier service do they send the passport i mean is it local courier or is it BLUEDART please reply i will be waiting for your reply as my case is becoming very serious now
because before that i want to check with post office weather if they have received my wife passport

As decesion made on 27th july and till now also i did not get my wife passport

It will be registered post at your local post office. They won't use any courier service.
Do two things ASAP :

1. Go to MP's office...tell them your situation and they will inquire about your status from NDVO within a week or even less (mine took 3 days)...take the details of your file with you...DO NOT DELAY THIS !!!!

2. Ask someone from your family in India to go to the Post office and inquire about any registry for your name within past month....they generally have all the records for registered post.

gud morning every1....have got a gr8 gr8 news....my ecas shows Decision Made. Now it shows:
We received your application for permanent residence on March 19, 2012.

We started processing your application on August 28, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I think as I had visitor visa also which was valid till Jan 2013 helped in speedy process... Wish u all the very best. All Mar applicants be ready; maximum will get DM by sat/sun

OH WOW.....CONGRATS DEAR....

I got my decision made ;D I got the good news today. will see hubby soon.

Some of you have asked me what questions were asked during telephonic interview

1) I am a christian and my husband a hindu. they asked us if I changed my religion prior to performing hindu marriage.

2) under what marriage act we got our marriage registered under.

3)where did we get married

4) send further proof about marriage registration documents (including application to register) to immigration.

Application Rec'd by CIC-M: 27-Feb-2012

Sponsorship Approval: 15-June-2012

PPR: 13-July-2012

DM: 31-Aug-2012


I want to thank all the members of this forum. Its such a great thing to share the info and help others.

Mostly I was a silent reader of this forum as I had very less knowledge of this CIC immg. process. But after joining this forum, I was able to guess when my case is near to finalization. I was anticipating my DM as many of the February members got their DM recently.

My case is straight forward. First Marriage, sent lot of docs, photos, relationship proofs etc. No interview call or any other demands from CIC. Status went to "Decision Made" directly from "Application Received".

Special thanks to Manorite, Ashunandal, Lalatata and all other senior members who have always helped with their knowledge.

Now waiting for my Passport with Shining VISA on it! 8) 8) 8)
