For those that are flying out the coming week, do you recommend any particular flights from Delhi/ or travel agents in Jalandhar? The ones my husband is looking at are all quite expensive, as much as a return ticket would cost. There are a few less expensive ones the week after (from sept 20th)...

My hubby just got passport back today, courrier service came around 3:30pm IST.. Visa is dated for Aug 30th, but ECAS said DM on Sept 2nd.. He'll be booking his flight sooon!!

Thanks, I think we're leaning towards him coming now.. just waiting for PP to come in the mail. That way he can at least enjoy some nice weather here before it gets cold. Also, it will help start process to get sin and ohip card. I think you have to be here for 3 months befor eyou can get those...

It took about 2-3 weeks for my husband, they requested a document on Aug 13 and DM Sept 2nd.

Hi, Vrajput is right, the time is seperate Stage 1 is 66 days (updated weekly), stage 2 is 9 months (updated quarterly). But on average for stage 2 straightforward cases only take 2-4 months, not the whole 9 months.

There's really no answer for your question, if you look at the new delhi thread.. times vary from 1 day to few months. You may want to contact your local MP if you do not see an update in a couple weeks.

Hi, just a suggestion you may want to contact your MP to help. Let the MP know that you already re-submitted med/pcc after interview.. It might help ND speed up stamping visa.

I agree, I think it would help speed up the process. Kind of wastes time to wait a month or longer for interview date. Then wait again for final decision.

Thanks Guys, I hope so. But I don't think the visa's stamped yet. Aug 17th (letter dated Aug 13th) my husbad got a request to send a form that was "missing", he sent that on Aug 18th. I have a feeling our file will be pushed back because of that. So they may not complete the process for a weeks/...

Checked E-Cas today, finally says "In Process" since Aug 16th. I didn't check since Friday afternoon, so not sure when this was updated. Happy to see some movement!
