SAME HERE!! MP GOT AN EMAIL FROM VO INDICATING MY HUSBAND WILL BE SCHEDUALED FOR AN INTERVIEW BUT WHEN??? MY medical expire in Mid September..

guys who got interview's...any idea why they called for an interview ? are your cases straightforward or complicated ? When I hear people getting interviews it scares me to death...even though our case is simple and straightforward and everything done legally through a lawyer... :'(

Got the passport and visa and COPR today at 5pm!

Offically done with Step 2 of becoming a Canada PR!

Now, only thing left to do is land and complete the final Step 3!

It took u more than a year to get visa????? OMG!!!!

Well yeah. My passport was with them for 10 months. And I was also unfortunately affected by the slowdown due to the strike.

My advice is, order GCMS notes every month to understand what is going on. Get your MP involved. Stay informed and keep them on their toes.

Meeee too.. Its be been 10 months I got no ppr no news wid the file for the last 10 months ecas reads application rec./ medical results rec. My stupid laywers are nt doing anything just waiting around for proccessing time to be over and my hubbys medical expire sept 2. I just made the mp inquiry hopefully will somthing good frm him...sooooooooo stressssed. And anxiety attack...

Yes I second this, once you have passed the 10 month-11 month waiting time you need to get your MP involved. Order GCMS notes to get an idea of what is going on.
Thing is people are getting very agitated who have applied in March and April 2013, but nowhere does the NDVO say that visas and COPR's will be issued in 6 months. Which is why MP's are unlikely to help before you have been waiting the normal wait times (which is 11 months on the website right now)
However people here have been waiting 10 months to a year. I would be annoyed. Talk to your MP!

Does it really matter?? you got Visa, PP and COPR...Maja ni life....kya farak padhta hai e-cas...change ho na ho.......enjoy your life..

A few days of travel history nt much..and fist marrige. But 3rd applying for spouse visa. Ndvo in the Past thought r marrige was farud nt genuine.

its my 2nd marriage and my husband has a lot of travel history because of his business. We have lots of proofs, such as old pictures ( he was my first childhood sweetheart and new pictures, trip together to japan and bangkok, went there to visit 3 times now..Knew eachother for so long...Call histories for everyday..Emails, sending gifts from online, facebook status, sending money through western union...etc........Whatever you can think of we sent it...

If I were you I would contact ur mp rite away..... They would be the Quickest way to approach ndvo... Cuz they not replying to mails.... Atleast u got a ppr. I have nt gotten that.. I emailed my mp 2 days back I got consent forms frm them today. So they will get back to me within A few daysoncw I sign the form..

Oh NO NO ;D I am just explaining or telling you what i did. lol
We showed whatever we have got. I think even more then enough. I went to MP 2 weeks ago and it says we are going to have an interview. Lets hope soon!
May be they just want to see how handsome my husband is..lol..

Its way too long to wait but We all will get through this soon.. BY next year...Most of the people here going to be new ones..
