New Delhi - 2012 applicants

One full Year is completed since we had filed our application.

I had been told that Visa would be issued in January or February 2013 and it is mid April now. We'd got GCMS and everything is passed except the Criminality. which is "In Progress" we had also approached to our MP last month and he told us that background check is half way done and to be followed after 30 days. so last Friday we again approached the MP and he assured us that he would send a query to CIC and would get back to us after getting a feedback from CIC.

The charm of Canada is almost finished now. ??? ??? ???

The worst part is my PP is with CHC from last September and I am stuck here for no reason .....

I don't know what to do now.............

Hi am4u2ster, where have u been for such a long time? We never heard anything from u.
Well i have no update to share. Just waiting for an update from the day i submitted re medical and new pcc (march12). Tomorrow its gonna be 5 weeks. I dont have a clue.
What abt u? Did u hear anything from them?

select pay fees online and it will give you an option to select Access to information

Ask your MP to follow up, it will speed up the processing..

well i never saw the medical results received ...ever ..
but going thru the notes it shows under medicals

Medical : 1 ( which means they received the medicals)

so they did receive the medical

Since IME status says furthered, i think they might ask for additional medical tests but is just based on search of old forum info. I found something similar in below link.

yeah i researched it as well and found out that it means further examination is needed..
when my wife did the medicals, there was some problem with their xray machine so they referred her to another hospital to get the test done.. what i believe is somewhere along the way, the medical report from other hospital didnt got attached or misplaced .. my wife's gonna call the doctors office tomorrow to find out what the heck is going on.

instead of email and submitting fees on another link, here is the link where you can do all at one place , however you need to download those two forms as i mentione earlier and filled in and singed scan copies along with the scan copy of your PR card , it will allow you to attach files and also pay fees, all in one place, it took me 30 min but i just now finished all and got a confirmation email for my request of GCMS>

Khan, the timeline varies from case to case and if you read this thread you will read about the concept of BFD (Bring Forward Date), which will help u understand the timelines better. Delhi Office claims that 80% of cases are processed within 10 months; People usually take anywhere from 4-6 months and some even more (and that's For Delhi processing itself). which is essentially the time once your file is opened in Delhi.

BF'D is an acronym for "Bring Forward Date" .. a mechanism Canadian Visa Offices uses to process visa applications (including spousal sponsorship)

Thanks a lot. I downloaded the forms and sent the consent form to my wife for her signature. Once I get it back signed, I will apply too. Which consent form did u attach since HS123 mentioned that it had changed?

hey..guys..have been watchin this forum at times. I find it very sad to know that the frequenzy of DMs is so much less than past. I tried contacting my area MP in Canada but he told he will only inquire after 10month deadline gets over which is in June 2013.
So I'm planning to inquire through indian MP in Gujarat
And to my luck he is ready to do the inquiry.

I want to know is it ok to do inquiry through INDIAN MP?
