Praying for an update this week.

Well there are a no. of reasons for me to be happy!!
The start was not good off course!! few days back the MP reply had come which said NDVO received my application on 23rd Feb, 13 and its awaiting initial review by a visa officer. i got really furious becoz my file was sponsored & transferred to NDVO way back in Nov, 12.

Anyways.... things got lighter when my husband arrived yesterday to see me..... & now i jst thought of checking the ecas which i wasnt doing for more than a week & found out 'IN PROCESS'. really very very happy today since i could share this moment with my husband. Even though theres no PPR yet still m relieved that my file is moving on.....

The file got inprocess from 11th April, 2013. Muski pls update the sheet.

I m really getting worried... Looking by the cases it seems that most of the visa's have been issued within 9 mnths... Although i was being asked for passport in jan 21'2013 , and its now 3 mnths ..still no change in ecas...i havent taken any help from MP

u r not the only 1 buddy ....see my timeline ...9 months completed ...ppr in jan 2013..n still waiting.....I am nt sure abt the fact that contacting the MP works or not...I did that twice n everyday I chk ecas hoping to see an update...but this misery is becoming worst day by day.....don't have any option rather then just wait for ndvo to pick up my file n have mercy on me some day.....

FINALLY DECISION MADE!!!


I would like to thank all the fellow members for supporting in difficult times.
I hope everyone gets the DM soon, Rabb mehar kare, as I always say..

Maple, HS123, Sidhu, v_sys and muksi, you are the next and will get DM very very soon..

My current home address has changed to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and not the full address including house and street numbers.. Is it normal??
And when can I expect the passport as I am from Patiala and I know delivery varies from 5-20 days..
Waise hi dil rakhan layi 5 din likh dao..

And I must say our MP helped us alot, his efforts helped in some movement in NDVO and immidiate In Process and DM..

And I wanna thank old members as well including mumble, saag2012, april_19, scorpionking, rahulchd and many more for their help in here..

This is a great forum and if possible we can meet and arrange a reunion in Canada, I can start that if any of you is willing to..
