Received Gcms notes today afternoon Pacific Time by email, found out that my file is open, it is in process (even though ecas status doesnot indicate). Seems like they have not got back to my file since Med Req update in July30.) they are on rcmp security check...

To predict my current condition: as there is only one duty matching my NOC code (4011), the first VO could not decide my eligibility so he transferred my files to another VO to process. But the second VO may be a senior one and busier than the first one so my application is now in his long long long ??? waiting list. Since only if eligibility is passed, CIC will send MR, thus, I may have to wait another half a year or more to get MR or any requests.
As a result, I will not expect anything in 2014 even early 2015, but just hope they will not refuse me directly without any clarification requests. Thus, just go back to routine work and life without expecting PR from now. :-X

I did my Medicals exams on Aug15 and recently (somewhere within the last 2 weeks) my ecas was updated with 'Medicals have been received'. However, ECAS status is still Application Received.
Haven't received RPRF yet.
We all need to be patient. It's clear that CIC slowed down since the end of July with only a few RPRFs and PPRs being requested but hang in there. Keep in mind the average process time is 13 months. January applicants are only at 9 months!
