New CEC - Jan 2014 Applications

Hi friends,
I'm Jan 2014 applicant.On Aug 11th I received a letter from CPC Ottawa for an addition document (Employment reference letter).I sent them thru mail, as well as a hard copy to their Ottawa address.So far didn't receive any confirmation that they received my document.

Can someone please help me in giving me an approx time frame

when I can expect MEDICAl request?
After medical request how many days it takes usually to reach the report to CIC guys and they ask for PR fee?
And when they ask for passport to be sent once they receive the payment?

Hi, friend. I guess you could email them to ask about your new document. Actually, you could order GCMS notes to see what is going on.

Did you asked for confirmation by mail ? If no they wont confirm you , If you have sent an email and you are lucky you might get a response but keeping less communication is better. You did your job let them do theirs and dont worry.

The way CIC is working forget your last 2 questions for now , and for MR request wait bit more as you might get MR soon as you have recently sent the additional docs , VO might take time to ensure eligibility is passed.

Does it make sense that if our GCMS notes show eligibility is passed, we could not worry anymore when you are healthy and safe?

Yes,I gave them my mail address when filling out my form.i received the requirement of an additional document thru mail only.

I thought VO has gone thru my application to ensure eligibility and only thing that remained was my reference letter.will they go thru the application eligibility again?

CIC asked me for additional documents(t4, notice of assessment and employment reference letter) on August 8th. I sent these documents on August 21st. I sent them thru e-mail as well as hard copies. Finally, I have received MR on September 6th.
In new brunswick, the earliest appointment for medical exam is available on 18th september. doctor asked me to bring passport, 3 copies of passport photo and $475 for the exam.
Anything else do I need to take with me?

I guess 475 for Two , if for one , man its damn costly .

I just received my medical request a minute ago! Yes!!

Application received: Jan 31, 2014.
AOR date: Feb 28, 2014.
Medical Request: Aug 14, 2014.

Nope. I didn't get the chance to do my medical exam until Sept 5. My doctors sent it in on Sept 9 and I just checked eCAS and it is showing as Medical results received, though the application status remains "Application received."

I did pay my RPRF upfront on the Sept 10. I don't know if that is suppose to show in the record as well.

No, I didn't get MR. Any idea how many Jan applicatns are still waiting for MR?

I got AOR 25th Feb and I got my Med Request 13th September.

Has anyone used Dr Nazareth at College & Bathurst in Toronto?
