Just checking from Jan applicants - who have not got MR request yet (ECAS showing application received on or before Jan 31) --- Are there any folks like that?

I was asked to submit the employement reference letters to confirm job responsibilities around 2 weeks back. I did that in last week and it got delivered to them. (thought they didn't acknowledge over email etc.)

Today, I see that my ECAS status changed to 'In Process'

So, is it 'OK' to consider that MR may follow soon

This ECAS update was generic and getting MR may depend on whether I am able to satisfy their requirement for employement reference letter.

I am in the same situation, I emailed CIC my employment reference letter as requested 3 weeks back, my ECAS status changed to " in process" but no PR yet. May I ask if you emailed CIC the documents or mailed to them?

I am assuming they are doing some sort of eligibility check right now... figure crosses.

I did both. Interestingly my documents were received by them on 8th Aug and I saw 'In Process' ECAS update on Aug 11. But so far no acknowledgement/communication from them.

I completed medicals on July 24. App status still says "App Received" .No RPRF either

Thanks for your reply. You said your documents were received on August 8th then ECAS became " in process". May I ask if you meant email was received by CIC or hard copy was received. The next day after I emailed CIC, my ECAS changed into " in process". However, I don't have my MR yet either...

For email, I haven't received generic reply from CIC. So, not sure, if the hard copy is under consideration. I am also waiting for MR. But in most cases, any communication (email/mail) are replied in 3-4 weeks. I will wait for some time before sending reminder email.

Congratulations! I think there is a whole lot before you who have not got MR yet. I believe CIC works in batches, each batch given to one or more agents. So it would really depend on the agent who is working on Jan applications, how quickly he/she will turnaround things.

This is what everyone in this forum is wondering about. After 25th July, there is no RPRF or PPR.
Most of them are guessing due to summer.. VO might be on vacation etc... Let see..
Hopefully it should start flowing on end of Aug or Sep beginning

Do you mean GCMS? I think you can check your status online only in ECAS? Correct me if there are 2 places you can check your status.
