New CEC - Jan 2014 Applications

Hi All,

Looking for help and suggestions. We went for our medical exams yesterday and got everything completed for me. For my wife, except for Chest X-Ray everything else is completed. We need to go for the X-Ray after delivery. However, the physician got us confused by asking why aren't we going for my wife's X-Ray as well although it won't be of any harm. But, our Gynecologist suggested not to go for any X-Ray unless it is required for medical reasons. Can someone suggest what to do now?

Also, the physician said there won't be any deferral form or recommendation put forward for my wife and it will be only that her medical results will be sent without X-Ray which will leave it incomplete. But, it will be mentioned in whatever document that will be sent to CIC that my wife is pregnant. Is this how it works? Or is there any specific document that will be sent to CIC to defer and put our application on hold for now? Do you guys suggest it's a good idea to send an email to CIC about the status of our medicals after a week or two from now? I have already sent an email to CIC earlier about the situation and our plans to add depedents to our application later and my wife's medicals will not include chest x-ray.

don't worry ...they just updated my ECAS to med received after a month ...

When did you get your MR and when did you complete? Did you do upfront or did you send any details like UMI number to CIC after Medicals?

I hav done my medical upfront on July 10 but didn't send them a receipt from physician... I am guessing that's why I received a medical request from cic on July 18 ...I sent them a emedical receipt on the same day (July 18)....and my statuts on ECAS was updated on August 19.

AOR received: Feb 26th

No MR as of yet. Getting worried...

My app was received 10 Jan and I got my MR on 24 July....

Having said that, some people who applied before me still don't have MR and some people who applied after me have the MR

Just seems totally random to me....and the waiting waiting is soooo frustrating

My Friend , I am completely aware of caps status , Even my medicals have been received and my application is in process and paid upfront RPRF and now waiting for PPR.

From 25th July there are no RPRF and PPR - may be here and there very few . What is the cause of this slowness from cic ?

The processing time for CEC applications as per CIC website is 13 months. That processing time reflects the time to process 80% of the applications.
If you are a January applicant and all your documents are in order, then your case processing will finish by February 2015.
I am not sure what you are worried about. You have been reposting some old posts in multiple threads.
Why are you in a panic mode?

I am asking a straight forward question , and thanks for your info I am already aware of it . 13 months is the processing Time that max it should take , that doesn't mean each Jan applicant will end up in Feb 2015. If your are concerned about what I have posted , is my concern which i wish is rumour , Please read it .
