My friend who applied in nov just got his MR. Noc 2171. It's all random.

I feel that mine will be delayed long as I just got married and updated my application to include my spouse. My gcms also shows no updates.
For us the process may seem random but for CIC it's not. As long as they are with their 80% completion target, they will pick and choose applicants to have a perfect gaussian curve. This is just a specualtion. Other members may know better about the process.

Well guys, I think CIC forgot there is a month called Jan in between December and Febraury. I see Sept, oct, november and December 2013 applications getting MRs and then Feb application. Nothing for Jan applications. I am really lost for words and starting to think it was actually not a good idea have faith on the PR application to get through.

There was a couple of feb applications. However remember that January has had a couple too and we also have a member who has gone through the whole process now.
It would appear that CIC are clearing up 2012 before moving to 2013.
Faith has nothing to do with it - I agree with Priority that CIC knows what it's doing

lol.. loosing faith so quickly.. ;D ;D ;D

There are numerous applications from October, November and December 2012 that are still pending. Unfortunately, the processing times vary depending on the VO your case is assigned to. Given the recent strike, it might take even longer to process applications. Stay positive!

Just speculating here but id imagine if you have your partner on the application too and kids etc, that will mean it will take longer. If your just a single applicant it must be quicker, just logically thinking here

In my case I'm single applicant, and still waiting for MR's so.....

Don't loose faith guys based on this spreadsheet result because don't forget there might be 1000's of applications for month of january and we only have list of 50 people in this list. and i don't know the criteria they use to assess application but there might be lot of people getting MR we don't know( those who are not in list) one of my friend who is not on this list , he is a january applicant and he already got request for PPR, MR is done , i am hoping all of us gonna get MR before End of November.

Not sure if it makes sense, but Can you add a column to the tracker for visa officer? We can update with the visa officer Id in the last correspondence from cpp - Ottawa.

Mine was NN05116. This officer seems to be answering all my emails.

How do you know the details of the visa officer after submitting the application?

Visa officer code is in the signature of any email from ottpilot-immigration. I seem to be getting all mails from one officer/agent. Based on what I see in other threads, it is visa officer code

your very right canadavisamohit!!, who knows the
true amount of applicants there really are!, what was your friends NOC code out of curiosity?

Thanks

If you noticed other threads, today was raining MR, RPRF, Bio Data and PPR for many Nov and some December applicants.

I'm happy for them.

His NOC code was 7246

wow its raining MRs except not for Jan applicants. Feels like either it is waiting to be rejected or something is wrong in the sorting. Is it like NOc 2173 is getting delayed or what ?
