New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

I see couple of April 2013 applicants got MR yesterday...........What's going on to Jan Applicants :-[

It might be possible that cic has changed strategy. May be eligibility is done first, if found eligible get medical done to make sure that there is no issue with med. total processing time might still be 12 months, whereas you can see that most nov and dec applicants are getting mr, bio data, rprf and ppr all at once.

So if they reject your application does it take long to let you know like 10-11 months and only application which are successful they send MR soon enough? So in that case how does the ECAS status look like when the application is rejected. I am asking since I see many Late Jan, Feb, March and even April applicants getting MRs and I have not heard back at all.

Rejections can happen at any stage of the PR process.
But generally it happens after AOR receipt (in between 2-5 months after CIO received your file).
I saw 1/2 applicants who were rejected after 9 months.
Those are rare cases.

Thanks! for the reply. So I consider this delay in getting any feedback as not rejection then. A Lot is on bet based on this PR , so will try to be positive and hope end of october or november we should hear back something.

I have a new Passport coming in / issued early next week. Old one was cancelled as it was near expiry (remaining 6 days).

Question A: What do I send CIC? New Passport details only or old passport details plus new passport details (once I get it)

Question B: Where do I send the email?

Question C: What do I write in the email?

Send a scan of the new passport to CIC.

Question B: Where do I send the email?

Question C: What do I write in the email?

Your Filenumber, Name and DoB + the situation that you have applied for a new passport and therefore submit the new information. Ask them to attach it to your application..
