@ Konkanasetty,

I assume that you are currently in Canada and have already received AOR.

Even if you send the scanned documents to below email address, CPP-O will ask you to send hard copies of the document to their address :

Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
219 Laurier Avenue West
7th Floor Section B
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1
Canada

Also, if you're sending a new reference letter - make sure that it is not completely different from the one you included in your original application.

After you send these documents, make sure you get a response from below email address confirming the receipt of your new documents. You should also see addition of your documents to your file in your GCMS notes.

Additional documents have to be submitted to CPP-O where CEC applications are being processed.
Here the email address: ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca
Make sure to mention your file number, name and dob in the email.

Thanks for your quick response.

But my original application had sent to CIO- Sydney NS.
Do I need to send additional documents to Ottawa office?

Seems like email address also belongs to ottawa office.

Please respond.

Are you in Canada right now? Did you receive AOR email?

If yes, your case is currently processed by CPP-Ottawa. You should send additional documents to CPP - Ottawa.

If you want to make sure that CPP-Ottawa is currently processing your application, send an email to cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca with your client ID, full name, nationality, date of birth and file number. Alternatively, you can call CIC call centre.

Thanks for the info.

I will send the documents to CPP-Ottawa.

Does anyone know if eligibility is looked at before requesting RCMP certificate?
I got an RCMP request a few weeks ago. I'm wondering if it's a good time to apply for GCMS notes.

Also, Andy - can you add my details to the tracker?
Application Received - 23 Jan 2013
AOR - 27 Feb 2013
Status - Application Received

Thank you!

Done.

Hope everyone had a great weekend :)

Few Dec 2012 applicants got their MRs at the end of last week - it almost looks like Dec and Jan applications are handled by separate group of officers. Based on the trend so far, I'm expecting that both Dec and Jan applicants receive MRs this week as well..

All the best !

yeah , although I was expecting to see more movement by now. I guess this will take long, maybe by the end of October every January should have their MR.

It seems things will move faster now since the vacation time is over.

Which vacation are we talking about? Do officers have an official summer vacation?

The strike is still on, however. Court has given a favourable decision to the diplomats. But the govt is yet to do any changes to benefits.

Everybody normally takes their vacation during summer since the schools are closed to spend time with family.

Now the schools are open again so 100% attedance :) this is what i meant.
Strike is most likely not impacting our applications too much.

Looks like nothing happened in CPP-O today - I saw no updates in Nov, Dec and Jan thread today..

Hi Jan Applicants,

Just wanted to check on how medical request is sent by CPP? Is it just by an email or a follow up paper mail is as well sent?
Any idea from what ID it arrives? If it just comes by an email then we need to ensure that, it doesn't go in spam.

If you had provided an email in your application (which you must have), you'll get medical instructions in your email.

Members who have already got medical request can provide the email ID. However, you can add domain @ cic.gc.ca to safe senders list to make sure you get the medical request in your inbox.

As the strike is still ongoing. most of the applicants who have submitted their application in the month of September 2012, october 2012, november 2012, december 2012.....all of these applicants are still waiting for MR.... so you have applied in jan 2013.. so mostly you still have time for your MR..as per the discussions in this website, it takes more than 12 months to get MR. so good luck.
