Yes Andy. Make sense. Let's keep a watch on GCMS notes for other applicants.
Thanks!

tom32,
RCMP clearance is definitely not mandatory while applying. It might be requested by CIC on case-to-case basis at a later date. I did take notice of this comment in my GCMS notes. Just waiting to see if all others in the list of Jan 2013 too have this comment in their notes. If yes then I would think this is a standard statement and might change at a later date (once the application gets into process). If not, I will get mine (and my wife's) RCMP done and send it across to be added to my file.

How many of Jan applicants have their application status changed to "in process" ?

I have received an email on June 10th stating a request letter from Ott-Pilot Immigration for Biodata, RPRF & Indian PCC. I have already paid RPRF & completed my biodata form. But I have sent my passport in the 1st week of June to Canadian Embassy, New Delhi for stamping of Visitors Visa. I am just waiting for my passport to come back so that I can apply for PCC and then send all the required details to Case Processing Pilot Center. Can anyone please tell me, how long does it take for CIC to send the medical request once we pay RPRF. And how often the interview is conducted.

Have you received your passport back ? If yes, how long did it take to get it back ?

when you apply for GCMS notes, do you receive them by email or regular mail?

I got it by Email

Andy - Could you please share the name of doctor if you in Toronto or GTA Area please.

Thanks

I did my upfront medicals in the GTA recently. The doctor I used was;

Gabor Lantos
Medisys Health Group Inc.,
95 St. Clair Street West, 12th Floor,
Ontario,
M4V 1N6

Andy I have a quick question for you. I completed my upfront medicals recently and received a copy of the upfront medical form and my emedical form and the UMI numbers were different and they explained to me this is normal and it will be all connected to my file/uci number. Is this what happened with you?

Also, did you email both the upfront medical form and a copy of the emedical form yourself personally to cic for reference?

Thanks

Not sure what are the two forms you are talking about. All that I got after completing my upfront medicals from the physician was one single form ... Upfront eMedicals Notification form which had the UMI#, my digital photo on it, bar code generated and contained all details of my passport. I scanned and emailed this copy to CIC and they acknowledged receipt.

Based on my current estimate...Sept, Oct and Nov processed apps...its taking about 182 days for MR for those hearing early on. Average processing time though is still around the 211 day range. These numbers are my calculation and are averaged out across the spectrum of all applications for those months. Pre-september numbers were in the 230s range. I'd say a little while longer...maybe expect something late August. Just my opinion... :)

Can anyone access the open data - I can't for some reason - it would be interesting to see how many cec applications for December 2012 - a few MRs are coming in for November so if December has low application number they might be done quicker.
And of course this is all assuming the strikes end soon :-(
