When mine was returned (because of a missing document), CIC didn't get my payment. They returned everything including the payment. Hope this answers your question.

But if the application has been processed and found ineligible because you did not satisfy the Visa Officer then I believe that is no longer refundable.

Guys, I had applied through company lawyer and my application reached CIC on Jan25th. Since I see many other who applied in the same time frame received the AOR , I had enquired with my Lawyer about any status regarding the AOR for my application. I got a reply stating the AOR letters are sent mostly at 2nd month mark and i should expect it by march 25th. I am wondering does CIC send an email and also a written letter at the contact address mentioned in the application.

Thanks Andy!!! Hi Ceeram..I think they send an email first and then they mail the official copy to the address you mentioned on your form. Don't worry I am pretty sure you will get it today or tomorrow. I called my bank day before yesterday to check if my draft was cashed, they said no it is still outstanding and yesterday when I got an email from CIC I saw that they charged it on Feb 28 so dont' worry. You will hear from them in a day or two....

Applied last January 26, 2013 but since I don't have the tax documents for 2012 during that time, I just included my tax documents for 2011. But as of today, I already got my 2012 T4, can I send it right away? Or should I send it after the I get the AOR? If so, should I send it to Ottawa or Nova Scotia?

I have another situation. I've been in canada for 4years now and been a food service supervisor for 2years last January so I immediately applied for CEC which was received Feb 1, 2013 in Nova Scotia. I am waiting for the AOR up to this time though. Anyway, I had a word fight with my boss and its not the first time that this happened, it's been a long time that I wanna leave this company but since I was determined to complete my 2year skilled experience, I didn't leave and instead I just take it all and now I just want to quit. I found another company and they gave me a positive LMO, not as a supervisor but a food counter attendant, will this affect my CEC application?

Based on what I know it would not affect for as long as I have completed 1year skilled experience but I just want to make sure.
