Hello,mydandelions said:Hi netblizz!
I am also working as a food service supervisor and applied under CEC..
NOC 6311 is skill level B and not among the exempted in the four-year cumulative temporary worker allowable stay in canada which took effect last april 1, 2011. Meaning, if you were here since the above-mentioned date, the latest work permit deadline you could get is up to april 15, 2015. As mandated, you would have to go back to your home country (unless you became a PR) and apply to come back to canada after 4 years.
No,you don't need 3 years experience.. One year will make you eligible in the last 3 years prior to applying under CEC.
Good luck to you!
Yes, you're right that we're not exempted from this 4-year limit as based on what I've read on "Introduction to the National Occupation Classification (NOC) 2011". Anyways, when are you going to apply for CEC? Have you maintain the 37.5 hours work per week as required by CIC-CEC?mydandelions said:Hi again netblizz!
First I wanna correct a typo error..I meant april 1, 2015 as the duration of work permit if you've been here since april 1, 2011.
It is true that we belong to a managerial sub-group but the rule about the 4-year max work permitted for a TFW under our group is not exempted.
This is the reason why I am pursuing my PR app asap coz I believe I only have 2 more years left.
All the best to you.
Anyway, maybe seniors could also answer your concern.. Anyone?
I have and I belong to this thread. yes.. i also work a minimum of 40 hours a week.Netblizz183 said:Yes, you're right that we're not exempted from this 4-year limit as based on what I've read on "Introduction to the National Occupation Classification (NOC) 2011". i'm able to log-in to ecas now. status shows "application received".
kindly update the tracker for me pls? thank you very much!
This is normal. Have come across quite a few instances of this sort. No worries. Wait for your AOR and make sure it acknowledges that your application is under CEC.soccer_boy said:Hi all
