Hi,
Although ,I am still to apply for my citizenship ,however as 2014 will be the year I will become eligible to apply ,I am keepin a close watch on timelines.Surprisingly ,contrary to the CIC website ,the processing times are getting shorter for recent applications especially filed during the 2nd quarter of 2013 and I have seen people getting processed in 7-10 months (through different local offices).
I am finding it hard to establish a conclusion thru this new trend .There are people who applied in 2012 (without an RQ) and still waiting for a test and there have been recent applicants who applied in 2013 ,got a pre-test RQ but were still faster enough to get test notification within 2 months after submitting RQ docs.
Has CIC introduced a new pilot project to speed process a bunch of applicants or they are just prioritizing the new applications ,as they did for post Feb 2008 FSW applicants ?
Anyone having any idea about this whole situation?
Thanks
