Dears,

I will immigrate to Canada as skilled worker soon and my previous career was in international shipping/logistics firms.

As I know, Prince Rupert is a port city. I wonder if it's easy to find a job of my speciality there. As I checked, the unemployed rate of Prince Rupert is high as about 20%. I am not sure if it's that hard of finding a job in this city.

However, it's a small city, the living cost there should be low.

All above is what I image. I hope there is someone who can tell me something about this city- Prince Rupert. I am looking forward to it. Many thanks to all of you. :)

1. Very very wet, and it is extremely unlikely that there is a market for your skills there. Note it is an expensive city as it is 1000 miles by road from Vancouver and it costs to ship goods there. Think that if it is relatively cheap to live there, but without a job, it will become expensive pretty rapidly. You probably should start your job hunt in Vancouver . Dear Friend,

Your information is quite useful, thank you!

And what about Halifax, is this city good for me? I am afraid YVR is too crowded for me and I like a quiet place

:)
