Need idea about processing time n, advise about adding spouse in e-APR file

Hi, I got invite on 468 point in last draw. My point is 495. I am single now but my marriage will be in April.

1. I want to know the processing time for express entry. I don't want to get PR before I get married. If in January I file e-APR, is it possible that in April I can add my spouse?

2. Within how many days I have to update CIC about my changes in marital status after marriage?

3. How much time CIC will give to submit spouse's documents?

4. What documents of spouse I will be needed? Do I need to verify her degrees too or just PCC, Passport and Medical good to go?

5. My wife's passport is on her name. while after marriage, to get PCC in India, I heard that she need to have passport updated as per the my details or my address otherwise her PCC will come by writing that she is single. Does is right? Does that work for PR file? To change the name and address in Passport need to apply for entire new passport which can take some time. Should my fiance get medical and PCC before marriage?

1 - Yes, you can add her after submitting your eAPR... unless you are lucky (or unlucky depending your point of view) of getting your PR before April - which is possible.

2 - You can inform them immediately after getting your marriage certificate.

3 - No idea but you should get prepared to submit Medicals and PCC.

4 - No need for her to take English test or get her credentials assessed. Your points won't be recalculated after submission of e-APR. Medicals, PCC, passport, and marriage certificate.

5 - Ask someone from India.

Apply when it is 10 days to go. You're sure to not get through before April. Indicated processing time is 6 months. Meanwhile after wedding, you can get your marriage certificate in less than a week and update your fiancee's passport with spouse name added. Then go for PCC with PSK and medical test for your wife and update in your CiC application.

One more question, Does all this process of getting marriage certificate, updating passport with spouse name and getting PCC and medical of spouse can be finish in 30 days as per Indian gov process time?

Marriage certificate may take a 4-5 working days.

Tadkal Passport - 4 to 5 working days.

PCC please check I got no idea - use PSK as i heard its quick.

Apply for Medicals immediately.

Its all possible within a month, provided you make close follow-ups.
