I took a look and i read all your positive advices and it was makes me feel happy and hoping that i could have friendly advice from you
I am Yurie ladyboy from cebu philippines. 1 year ago my boyfriend moved philippines to spend his life with me but after 11 months of living together we had problem from his work and he decided to go back canada and after a while he realized that we can have better life there. it's 4 months ago since he leaved philippines and i was very sad and frustrated coz i cant even go with him coz i was dinied when visitor visa first time applied.
i was interested about inland and outland?
my boyfriend he already applied sponsorship as conjugal partner and our application was submitted to CIC. my boyfriend he hired immigrant consultant and she is the one who did everything but i didnt know if inland or outland our application.

Ineffable do you think i have chances to get temporary residency permit while waiting my PR process?
and please advice me what im gonna to do my application letters that CIC will believe me.
i have no work in phillippines and i i tried to met CIC consultant hre in cebu and she said that i will be refuse again coz i no asset here in phillipines to prove to CIC that i will return my country. i would like to visit my boyfriend to spend time with him coz i was missing him so much all the time. please advice whats the good thing to me to do.

He's applied outland for you. The good news is it sounds like you have an immigration consultant that knows what they are doing. The bad news is they are right, it is very unlikely you will be able to visit Canada until your PR comes through without a job or property there to show you will return. BUT, Manila is pretty fast VO so you might not have long to wait.

I think the easiest thing is for him just to visit you.

I think if you applied inland, your spouse can take courses that will take 6 months or less to get a certificate. If it takes longer than 6 months to get a ceritficate or degree, she will have to get a study permit.

Honestly, I think it's best for her to apply outland, then apply for a visitor visa to Canada, and just remain in Canada until she gets her PR. She can always try for an extension should she not get PR before the visitor visa expires. By going outland, at least she will get her PR much more quickly than inland, then she won't have to pay international student tuition fees.

As for the OWP program, honestly I think it's better to get her PR in 6-8 months without working, than working in 4 months, but forced to remain in Canada for over 2 years and paying international rates on tuition.

Great insight...thanks for that. After you mentioned this, it seems like the better option. If we get married in Taiwan do we really need to take pictures? We have tons of pictures already together since we lived together for a while in Canada during her student visa.

Is it not a conjugal application? Even processing via Manila, this will not be "pretty fast", in fact it will be pretty DARN slow.

I agree however, you have ZERO chance of getting a TRV.

It does not need to be a big ceremony. However, for even a small private wedding, I would suggest you make it look special: get dressed up, exchange rings (if this is normal in your culture), take photos, maybe go out for dinner with the witnesses after, etc.

If both are from cultures where a big ceremony is the norm, keep in mind that the visa officer will then expect a big ceremony and you will have to explain why you did not follow your culture's norms.

after 2 months, finally i recieved news from my partner that my PR application is already forwarded in manila for on process and i am also very that our sponsorship was approved. my partner told me that CIC will not communicate on me like sending emails coz we used and we hired consultant. so all i can do is to wait news from my partner what i'm going to do. and the consultant she said that i am ready to have medical exam and after this i dont know what's next.
i know is 98% i will not approve for reapply temporary visitor visa coz i dont have work, travel history and ties in my home country. one thing i have is only little proverty that i bought in my province 5 months ago. and also the sponosrship approved.
my partner he prepare me to visit in canada coz of his situation. but i think it could be difficult for me, but i will try anyway, hoping i could obtain TRV coz i was missing him so much.
