Hi guys. I just got my owp under inland spousal sponsorship.

Anyone here from alberta can give me information updating sin# and health care?
Do I need to update my sin # and health care before applying a job.

I have current sin # under lmo permit will expired this march 2016 though.

Do I still need to update my sin # or wait till my current sin# will expired?

your sin # would be fine till it is expired.
assume your work permit and sin no. would be expired on same date ( Mine was )
I was told if you do not have proper permit (renew work permit) then service canada would not renew your sin no.

correct me If I am wrong.

contact to Service Canada in your area.
they would know what you can do.

if you have work permit, you can have sin no.
your Sin no. would be expired same date your work permit is expired.
