This is getting really frustrating. For me now its a week more than 3 months. There is no any intitmation for medical. My timeline is

Submitted: 8th Jan, 2013
Rejected: 24th Feb 2013
Resubmit: 8th March, 2013

and nothing after that. I am engineer for CWP+LMO.

Yes Kamal...My employer got LMO corrected from HRSDC and i resubmitted with updated LMO. But no news even after more than 3 months of resubmission.

i have applied for work permit on 3rd may 2013 but till date there is no reply from embassy does any one knows how long does it take or ho can i contact Canadian embassy. Thanks.

PAFSO strike is hitting hard, even call center at embassy is not picking calls.

i sent several fax/emails to withdraw application but no response.

Any suggestion how can i get the passport back.

I had sumitted passports for my spouse and I after the medicals on June 04, 2013. Today I received an email that our work permit has been approved.

Timeline is:

Application submitted - Mar 04 2013
Medical Request Received - May 16 2013
Passport submitted back - Jun 04 2013

Do you guys know how long after I receive the email will I get the passports back?

I had sumitted passports for my spouse and I after the medicals on June 04, 2013. Today I received an email that our work permit has been approved.

Timeline is:

Application submitted - Mar 04 2013
Medical Request Received - May 16 2013
Passport submitted back - Jun 04 2013

Do you guys know how long after I receive the email will I get the passports back?

Congrats! My case has been marred with long periods of wait due to medical furtherance and general slowness in getting requests from the high commission. I completed the second furtherance on June 6th. Really hoping for a reply soon. My life's basically on hold until then and its really frustrating.

I understand your frustration. I applied for CAQ in December. It has been a very long wait. My current employer is nice enough to be patient. Good luck

I applied for a CWP/LMO in early Jan and did my meds in early March. Later I got medical furtherance requests twice. Now I've completed everything and have my fingers crossed.

My employer too has been really patient but I can feel their patience running out. I'm at a point where any answer (acceptance/denial) is acceptable to me, but just to keep hanging in between is not and that's really frustrating.

I can't advise you to have patience because it was so hard for me to wait since December last year. But I wish your arrives soon. Keep yourself busy with other things. Time will pass sooner

Hello every1,

Congratz Vishsang. I am a new member of this forum, let me share my timeline with u all

I have submitted my WP application on 3rd April till now there is no update from the Canadian High Commission.

We should understand one thing, March, April, May and June are the busiest months of the year, All the the applicants of March, April and May suppose to be processed in June but our bad luck there is a strike is going on. Lets hope that the strike will come to an end soon and we will get our Visa Very Soon.
