ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

2 month officially ,but they will take more than 4 month to issue visa if they are working .

final time NDVO and GOD knows.

To my immense surprise Chandigarh Visa Office replied within a week of the email inquiry. Here is the reply my wife got:

NO concrete answer, just a vague answer and they are asking to wait for more time and that time I do not know 1 day, one week, a month, couple of months or 3-4 more months..........

This is the standard answer and response is not very encouraging ..........but I am happy that the visa office at least responded.

I have already completed 4 months after submitting my application and eagerly waiting for my passport with VISA!!! By the way how do you know that the status in changed in VFS site? Did you receive any mail or SMS stating that there is a change in the status of your application. Please provide some inputs on this.

I know you have a lot to be frustrated, but remember there could be a lot of people who get their approval in time & as a result never look for this forum or never post in this thread. People who post in this thread are more likely to be among the people who are facing delays. So "Every application" may not be true.

Hi,
Normally people get confirmation alongwith Medical call only.
If process at NDVO gets delay then confirmation will also get delayed.
