National Identity Document - IMM 0008 my country or canada?

Do they mean from Canada or from my home country in Germany?

what could it be maybe BC card if you live in BC but you only get one when you have the PR?

I am only familiar with Eastern Europe. For this we needed a notarized copy of the National ID. I think that this is very specific for Poland (where we applied from).
