I am interested in Alberta. I have a background in Electrical.
My country's visa processing time is about 10 weeks.

I think then you should go for May intake, cz my country takes 11 weeks and the deadline is on 4th oct..
There are many colleges in Alberta...

i applied on 19th aug for jan intake and now my app status is on hold and final decision is to be maked..

Have you already paid for assessment?
I had applied on 23rd June. .then paid assessment in 1st week of Aug...till now no any updates. ..
I have no hopes any more.. infact I am going to a different college. .paid my fees yesterday. And next week applying for visa.

Sheridan College.

I completed O levels with division 3, Then certificate in accountancy got B+, then did 6 month business management diploma. ..

actually i hv applied for nait jan intake but seeing the long procesiing time..i want to keep sheridian offer letter as back up ..tht's why i ask u tht cn we change frm sheridian to nait once i m in canada

HEY BUDDY!!

If u want to change your college here in canada, It will be difficult for you. Because Sheridan will take 4 to 6 weeks to refund your fees. IF u hv enuf money to pay fees to NAIT without waiting refund from sheridan, then it will be fine.

I have applied in NAIT for Spring 2015 intake on 31 October 2014 in DMIT program.

My profile is;
10th - 9.8 CGPA
12th - 90.02% (English-95% Maths-95%)
IELTS - overall 7.0 with no less than 6.5

bro u don't have enough time to apply for visa now ..
nait take 6 days to send offr lettr after acceptance .. also u have to pay tuition fees which they will receive in 3 days and then they will send you receipt which you will receive after 3 days .. but the main problem is with gic because they take almost 10 days to send receipts which are required to apply the visa .. though u haven't got even offr lettr yet so apply for next intake . rest depends on you . .
