Some good news.. As far as I can tell from the articles I've been reading the offices with employees on strike are: Manila, Beijing, Bangkok, Jakarta, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Chongqing, Astana, Delhi, Chandigarh, London, Moscow and Mexico City, and economic officers in Tokyo. Let's hope Nairobi doesn't get put on the list!!

Hey guys, I haven't been on this site for awhile I've been bust helping my wife get settled in canada. Fr all those going through Nairobi, I would suggest that you call Nairobi and politely ask them for a rough estimate of when the interviews will be done for your country. Also send new information to them regarding your relationship with your spouse, your interview can get waived wen though they said your in an "interview queueu" ( by the way interview queue, is a nice way of saying we haven't processed your application) I know that if you bring your wife to kenya thy will speed up the interview date. So yeah hopefully this was helpful.

Happy for you Sccot2539, it shows that they about to confirm if the relationship is genuine and based on what you said they have believed good part of your story and want more to reach Decision Made if you have already paid all the fees and done the medical.

Well for your question, it depend on the Visa Officer who is dealing with your file. If he is fast than mine you will get your good news soon. When did you received that request document?

They requested 5 hours ago via my lawyer.
I have printed emails since 2009 to now and phone bills for 1 and 1/2 years. Just photos and passport copy to do. I am without my wife and baby 3 years now.

Thank you. I am tired from this long journey of child custody/divorce in Canada 2 years. I am single parent of 9 year old girl. My new wife and new 2 year old daughter I need them here. Brianna turns 3 in July.
Wow it is 14 months since new marriage.

To me it sound like there is no more than three months they will finish you case. I am waiting for my passport for 7 weeks now. My hubby was also requested additional family form on April 15, 2013 and we send it on May 03, 2013 and May 6 they got. Mp contacted them on May 19,2013 and they reply him one day after that the file is under final review and since them. Just be strong everything will be okay soon.

My MP just sent them an email today to know why the passport is taking too long. They always reply her one day after but me they don't even care lol. But this update I will get in few hours will be a major break.

That is good. I have heard when time for passport it is best to take in person more than. That it can be same day service. Of course only on Thursday Hahaaa.

I`m happy for you! At least they are really working on your application. Since you submitted your application on February, it gives me hope to think they are working on the 2013 application already, so far i`ve seen good news from November applicant 2012. I wish you all the best and soon you`ll be with your wife.
